The Conversations 

For our eighth year of Forces, we focused on the power of the runway show, or, more accurately, runway shows, and invited many of the brilliant creatives who make the magic happen—from designers to models to makeup and hair superstars. As well as the A-list keynote speakers and fashion-forward conversations you’ve come to expect from Vogue, attendees were invited to join the conversation with us about the inside track on everything runway—from memorable collections to standout shows, models, soundtracks, and major beauty looks.

In addition, attendees had the opportunity to meet our editors—and each other—with networking breakout sessions.

Immersive Fashion Experiences

NEW THIS YEAR: Attendees got access to exciting immersive fashion experiences, including a tutorial on how to review a runway show by a Vogue editor (with the chance for their review to appear in the all-new Vogue app); a signature Pat McGrath makeup-technique touchup from our "Beauty Room"; or have their photo taken by Vogue photographer Hunter Abrams—with a chance to see their shot in the official Forces of Fashion Look Book!

Plus, attendees had the opportunity to watch an exclusive screening of the VOGUE WORLD: PARIS Documentary which revealed how this year's thrilling event at the Place Vendome came to life; they enjoyed a catered lunch from celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson’s restaurant Metropolis—and, let’s not forget: access to the iconic Vogue fashion closet.

Fashion Fund Goes Live

It’s a big year for the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund—we have turned 20! Attendees got the opportunity to meet the 2024 finalists—along with some of the designers who went through the fund and became major fashion stars! This year’s group is comprised of Sebastien Ami by Sebastien and Marianne Amisial, Kate Barton, Grace Ling, Connor McKnight, L’Enchanteur by Dynasty and Soull Ogun, Presley Oldham, Phipps by Spencer Phipps, 5000 by Taylor Thompson, Jane Wade, and Wiederhoeft by Jackson Wiederhoeft.
