As Head of Sustainability for H&M North America, Abigail Kammerzell is obsessed with purpose – creating opportunities for communities to look, feel, and do good. Abi leads H&M’s sustainability strategy and programs to support the interconnectivity between the health of people and the health of the planet. With a focus on impact, Abi has created an award-winning model for community investment and partnerships, while driving towards a sustainable fashion future.

Nearing 14 years in the fashion industry, Abi approaches sustainability as a holistic, pre-competitive effort. She sits as co-chair on the National Retail Federation’s Sustainability Council and represents H&M on The Trevor Project’s Corporate Member Network. In addition to sustainability and community investment, Abi drives H&M North America’s philanthropic giving, emphasizing climate justice and creating racial, gender, and LGBTQ+ equity through models of economic advancement, grassroots community growth, and civic participation.
