Kate Barton is a NYC-based fashion designer from Kansas City. Barton graduated from SCAD in 2020 and had the honor of being recognized for her effort right away, receiving Milan’s Mittelmoda Innovation Award, CFDA Top Graduate Showcase, and a Red Dot Award for Social Cause. These achievements allowed her the opportunity to launch her own label in New York in 2021. Barton recently presented her sixth collection on the official CFDA calendar for Fall/Winter 2024. This time, introducing a technology element through partnerships with Apple and Snapchat AR. Barton’s unique approach to sculpting shape has garnered significant attention, leading to exciting opportunities with press features and collaborations with celebrity stylists, including custom projects with Beyoncé, Taylor Swift,
Madonna, and Emily in Paris. Simultaneously, Barton focused her efforts towards cultivating a reliable network of private clients and wholesalers to ensure sustained growth.
