Following a move to Los Angeles, Sebastien Amisial found himself joining forces with mentor Carl Louisville at Guerilla Atelier. His tenure saw the release of his first line of clothing under the label Merakai Imperial Garments. Transitioning to Neiman Marcus as the designated sales specialist for Berluti. Subsequent success led to a position with Brunello Cucinelli via Neiman Marcus, where he excelled in sales and corporate design communication. The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic prompted Sebastien to fully dedicate himself to his eponymous label, despite lacking formal design training or prior experience with other labels. His work speaks for itself, serving as both his resume and portfolio. SEBASTIEN AMI embodies his dedication to the craft.
In 2005, Marianne moved to San Diego for college, securing a position with the renowned showroom Hamid Derak. While attending FIDM and professionally ice-skating, she assisted Hamid at events like MAGIC and LA Fashion Week, helping to expand his customer base to include West Coast luxury boutiques and bigger box retailers, such as Nordstrom. Over eleven years, Marianne gained comprehensive experience in sales and merchandising of the business. Some of her noteworthy positions include West Coast Sales Director for Buffalo Jeans, owning and designing her own brand BIAS Women (2015-2017), and finally owning her own showroom Maison de Mon Ami during the COVID-19 pandemic, where she successfully imported contemporary women's brands from Paris and Portugal. Today, she co-directs SEBASTIEN AMI, managing an ever changing business plan, backend logistics, direction in merchandising/design, sales and marketing.
