London-based Luke Leitch hails from a family of writers and is currently contributing editor for Vogue Runway, editor at large for Vogue Italia, and style editor for The Economist’s 1843 magazine. Luke transitioned to fashion in 2009, after a decade on British newspapers that saw him specialize in crime, art, and gossip (but not all at the same time). He has written for titles including the Times of London, The Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, Vanity Fair, Esquire (U.K.), Corriere Della Sera, and various editions of Vogue and GQ. He enjoys covering both womenswear and menswear. His outside interests include photography, soccer, cricket, and gardening.
