Hadnet Tesfai began her career in public radio, hosting shows for Radio Fritz in Berlin. Given her deep passion for music, it was no surprise that her next step led her to MTV, where she quickly became one of the channel’s prominent faces. Since then, her journalistic skills and extensive knowledge and understanding of pop culture have led her to host programs for ARTE and festivals for 3Sat.
From the red carpet at the EMAs, to hosting a weekly RBB show on contemporary culture, to taking center stage at major events like the Berlin International Film Festival "Berlinale" - which she has hosted and opened for the fourth consecutive time - and the "GQ Men of the Year 2022 Award," Hadnet Tesfai's versatility is unmatched.
At the Invictus Games, held in Düsseldorf in September 2023, she stood alongside Prince Harry in front of 18,000 people, hosting both the opening and closing ceremonies.
